Welcome to Rachel in the Classroom

Rachel·April 9, 2026·2 min read

Hey there, teacher friend.

Pull up a chair, grab your coffee (or your third Diet Coke — no judgment), and let me tell you why I started this little corner of the internet.

If you're here, you probably know what it's like to love your job and feel completely overwhelmed by it at the same time. To spend your Sunday night laminating and your Monday morning wondering if you're doing any of this right.

I've been there. I am there. And I created this space because I needed it to exist — a place where faith-driven teachers can be honest about the hard stuff, share what's actually working, and remind each other that we're not alone in this.

What You'll Find Here

This blog is for the teacher who wants real talk, not Pinterest-perfect advice. Here's what I'll be sharing:

  • Classroom strategies that actually work (tested by yours truly)

  • Faith encouragement for when the job feels heavier than your teacher bag

  • Practical resources you can use tomorrow morning

  • Honest stories from the trenches of teaching

Why "Rachel in the Classroom"?

Because that's where you'll find me — in the classroom, in the mess, in the middle of it all. Not as an expert with all the answers, but as a fellow teacher figuring it out one day at a time, leaning on faith and a whole lot of grace.

I'm so glad you're here. Let's do this together.

With love and dry-erase markers,
Rachel
